These cases are cheap enough that you can buy a few to last for the duration of your laptop. The previous one I got lasted less than 2 years. Overall I do like this type of thin case rather than the thicker and deeper one.

Bought a 12” sleeve for my 13” macbook. Happy that I did: now it fits very nicely. Definitely consider buying smaller, check the measurements before ordering. The pockets are very tight, only very small items can go in them.
